The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI opens its new satellite office in the Municipality of Carmen, Davao del Norte, today, January 28, 2025.

Strategically located to serve the residents of Carmen and the entire second district of Davao del Norte, the satellite office aims to improve accessibility to DSWD services. It focuses particularly on the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program, which provides essential support to individuals and families grappling with emergencies or financial challenges.

The inauguration ceremony was led by DSWD XI OIC-Regional Director Merlinda A. Paragamac, alongside members of the Regional Management Committee, and provincial and municipal field staff. The initiative reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to delivering efficient and responsive social services.

This significant milestone was made possible through the strong partnership between DSWD XI, Local Government Unit (LGU) of Carmen and the Second District of Davao del Norte, showcasing collaborative efforts to uplift the lives of individuals in need.

With this new sub-satellite office, DSWD XI continues to strengthen its presence and support in the region, reinforcing its mission to provide timely assistance to vulnerable sectors.
