The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI through its Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty (EPAHP) Regional Program Management Office conducted a Year-Starter Planning Workshop with members of the Regional Convergence Team on February 23-24, 2023 at the Ritz Hotel, Obrero, Davao City. 

Said activity aimed at coming up  with a convergence indicative calendar of activities and targets framework for 2023, and to collaborate strategies to attain distinct  agency targets on EPAHP-related programs and services. 

During the workshop, participating agencies presented commitments and obligations that will contribute to the attainment of program objectives through strengthening strategic measures. 

Promotive Services Division Chief Elizabeth T. Degorio, EPAHP Regional Program Coordinator Angelie R. Darilay, along with partners from the Sustainable Livelihood Program, Supplementary Feeding Program, and Disaster Response Management Division, as well as representatives from Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) , Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), National Dairy Authority (NDA), LandBank of the Philippines (LBP), Department of Education (DepEd), Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation (PCIC), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Department of Health (DOH), Department of Agriculture (DA), DA-Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI), and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) were in full force to achieve the objectives of the planning workshop. 

EPAHP is a convergence program and one of the government initiatives under the Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger which is intended to contribute in addressing hunger and poverty in the country. Moreover, it looks into the attainment of Ambisyon Natin 2040 Para sa Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Buhay. ###
