Participants and Resource Speakers of the SEC Technical Assistance Training last September 8, 2022 at ABC Hall, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro.

The DSWD Field Office XI partnered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Davao Extension Office in providing technical assistance to identified officers of existing Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Associations and SLP staff in Davao de Oro, last September 18, 2022, held in the municipality of Nabunturan. 

The training aimed to educate the 17 SLPA officers from different municipalities in Davao de Oro and 12 SLP Project Development Officers in regis registering non-stock corporations. Other topics were also discussed such as the SEC reportorial requirements, submission of reports through the Electronic Filing and Submission Tool (eFAST), and Illegal Investment Schemes.

This initiative is a result of the continuous monitoring and evaluation of existing SLPAs in the region. Moreover, the SLP staff in the province were also included to roll-out the said topics in their respective areas of assignment.

SLP aims to improve the economic well-being of the vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals and families in communities by mobilizing and empowering the same through the support of the local government units and other government agencies.
