The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XI, through the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, administered the Learning Needs Assessment (LNA) 2022 across all the provinces of the Davao Region last August 1 – 5, 2022. The 4Ps Regional Program Management Team (RPMT) led by the Division Chief, Margie G. Cabido, and the Capacity Building Unit (CBU) of the program initiated and facilitated the said assessment. Participants of the said LNA were the City/Municipal Links, Social Welfare Assistants, and Municipal Roving Bookkeepers of the said program.

This LNA was one of the Pantawid Pamilya’s initiatives as part of the capability building and capacity development processes indicated in the program’s operations manual.

Further, this was centered on capturing the learning gaps of the program staff by assessing their current competencies compared to the performance requirements.

Results of the LNA data analysis shall be utilized accordingly to identify the appropriate capability building, learning, and development interventions for the target population—- the 4Ps workforce.

The 4Ps XI believed that the workforce’s learning must not be hindered nor stopped, rather, it needed continuous cultivation to produce more efficient and effective services for the welfare of the 4Ps beneficiaries. (August 9, 2022)
