Residents of Home for Girls and Women of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) take part in regular home life activities while at the center. They also participate in Department of Education’s regular school curriculum as well as in counseling and therapy sessions, skills enhancement program, arts and crafts, gardening, spirituality meetings, recreational activities, among others to help them recover from trauma and restore their normal social functioning. Such activities also prepare them for successful reintegration in their family and community. (DSWD)
