The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), recently led a series of blessings and turnovers for various livelihood projects in several barangays in the Municipality of Maragusan, Davao de Oro, during May 2024.

Four PAMANA associations, namely the Mahayahay PAMANA SLP Association, NK PAMANA SLP Association, Tigbao PAMANA SLP Association, and Cambagang SLP Association, received the third tranche of their seed capital funds worth Php 300,000.00 for their additional livelihood projects such as free-range chicken production and general merchandise.

Moreover, one regularly funded SLPA, the KABAMA SLP Association from Barangay Mapawa, received Php 450,000.00 worth of livelihood capital for their Event Rental and Souvenir Project.

A total of 140 program participants are expected to benefit from these efforts.
