The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI through its Enhanced Partnership Against Hunger and Poverty Program (EPAHP) conducted the 1st Knowledge Alignment on the Progress of EPAHP Towards #AmbisyonNatin2040 or “KAPE TA” with some representatives of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and selected members of the Regional Convergence Team on 22 February 2023 at the Ritz Hotel, Obrero, Davao City. 

The “KAPE TA” aims to provide a comprehensive orientation on the Zero Hunger program and to strategically plan its proposed 2023 projects under the implementation of the SLP wherein a whole-of-a-government approach is applied. 

Promotive Services Division Chief Elizabeth T. Degorio, EPAHP Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) Angelie R. Darilay, SLP RPC Raynel C. Ayungao along with other SLP focal persons and representatives from Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) , Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Irrigation Administration (NIA), Commission on Population (POPCOM), Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), Philippine Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), and National Dairy Authority (NDA) attended the day-long orientation..

SLP is a capability building program which aims to improve the economic well-being of the vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals and families in communities by mobilizing and empowering the same through the support of the local government units and other government agencies.

EPAHP is one of the banner programs enrolled in the National Food Policy and is intended to contribute to the National government efforts in addressing hunger and poverty through the synergy and convergence of essential services of its partners. ###
