The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XI, through its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), conducted an expanded regional systems conference last October 18-21, 2022 at Malagos Garden Resort, Baguio District, Davao City. The 3-day activity was organized by the 4Ps Regional Program Management Team, led by Division Chief Margie G. Cabido. Attendees were the 4Ps RPMO, Provincial Links, SWO IIIs, and all-systems-focal persons/officers from the regional, provincial and the different clustered offices (GRS, CV, PRBs, BDMs, Finance). The said 4Ps systems were the Compliance Verification System, Grievance Redress System and the Beneficiary Data Management System.

The said conference aimed to initially craft and produce the Regional Systems Handbook and Process Guidelines along with the cases involving systems and Case Management. It also targeted the following learning objectives:

  • Recognize accomplishments for the 1st Semester of C.Y. 2022;
  • Clarify prevailing concerns and enhancements of the program’s core operational systems;
  • Develop process guidelines on handling household concerns involving both system and case management, and;
  • Develop systems handbook and leveling-off of the 2nd Semester IPC targets.

The different systems of the 4Ps were all parts of its cycle wherein beneficiaries were managed through compliance monitoring, addressing the different concerns and issues through grievance redress and beneficiary data management. The efficiency of the program in improving the level of well-being of its beneficiaries relies mostly on the effective implementation and handling of the said program systems.###
