KAPALONG, Davao Del Norte (DSWD XI) -A total of Php 360,000.00 seed capital fund was released recently to CEDUPA Modified Conditional Cash Transfer Association in Barangay Gupitan, Kapalong, Davao Del Norte to finance a community store and agricultural project.

The association is composed of 30 IP families from sitios Dugayan, Sentro and Patel.

Present during the turnover were Pantawid Pamilya Regional Indigenous Peoples focal Audrei Perez, Davao Del Norte Pantawid Provincial Link Blaissel Jane L. Fernandez, Pantawid Social Welfare Officer III Jennylou B. Maglasang, and Pantawid Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Officer Bryan N. Tampon.

The MCCT-IP (Modified Conditional Cash Transfer for Indigenous Peoples) program aims to reach out to families who are definitely poor and more vulnerable and disadvantaged but are not covered by the regular Conditional Cash Transfer Program or the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. (DSWD)
