The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XI (DSWD FO XI) conducted on-site monitoring and geo-tagging activities on May 7–8, 2025, in selected barangays of Magsaysay and Sulop, Davao del Sur.

On May 7, the team visited Sitio Turan in Barangay Balnate and Sitio Kabuhuan in Upper Bala, Magsaysay. On May 8, monitoring continued in Purok 2, Barangay Laperas and Purok 3, Barangay Clib, Sulop.

The activity was participated in by representatives from key local offices, including the MSWDO, MAO, MDRRMO, BFAR, MEO, MENRO, DepEd, MIO, as well as the concerned Barangay Captains.

The team validated whether project structures were built in compliance with approved plans and standards. Geo-tagged images were used to document site conditions and confirm the exact location and scope of works completed, promoting transparency and project integrity.

Importantly, the activity highlighted the critical role of Cash-for-Work beneficiaries, whose active participation fosters community ownership and long-term sustainability of the interventions.
