The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI officially welcomed its new Regional Director, Engr. Rhuelo D. Aradanas, Ph. D. during a formal Installation and Turnover Ceremony held earlier today, July 16, 2025 at the DSWD XI Regional Office in Davao City.

RD Aradanas brings with him a remarkable track record, having served as the Regional Chief of the Anti‑Red Tape Authority’s Eastern Mindanao Regional Field Office. In that capacity, he led efforts to ensure government compliance with the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act under RA 11032, guiding LGUs in streamlining public service procedures and advancing bureaucratic transparency in the region

During the ceremony, former OIC-Regional Director and now Regional Director for Operations (ARDO) Merlinda A. Paragamac, RSW, MSDA formally handed over leadership responsibilities, symbolizing a seamless transition aimed at sustaining DSWD XI’s standards in program delivery.

In his remarks, RD Aradanas urged all employees to join forces and work collaboratively toward the swift and efficient delivery of social welfare services.

𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙩𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙠𝙤𝙙 𝙣𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙙. 𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘿𝙎𝙒𝘿,” RD Aradanas said.

The event was graced by DSWD officials, representatives from partner government agencies, LGU officials, and DSWD XI staff – all expressing strong support for the new Director’s visions.
