The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office XI (DSWD FO XI), through its National Household Targeting System (NHTS) team led by Ms. Kareen Maris M. Ferrer, Project Development Officer IV, officially endorsed the updated Listahanan household database, reflecting data as of December 2025, to the Municipal Planning and Development Office of Kiblawan on June 27, 2025.

This milestone empowers the local government unit (LGU) to design targeted social programs, identify eligible beneficiaries, and conduct name-matching with locally maintained records. The updated dataset strengthens evidence-based decision-making and promotes data-driven community development.

During the event, the DSWD XI–NHTS team conducted a formal turnover meeting with staff from the Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO). They presented the comprehensive dataset, discussed its features, and explained how it can support the LGU in planning, beneficiary identification, and program development.

Listahanan, or the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction, is a scientific, proxy means-tested database maintained by the DSWD’s NHTS. It determines who and where the poor are nationwide, enabling national government agencies (NGAs), LGUs, and partner organizations to implement more targeted and effective poverty-reduction programs.
