The Department of Social Welfare and Development XI (DSWD XI) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Legacy College of Compostela Inc. (LCCI), strengthening an advantageous partnership aimed at enhancing the delivery of social protection programs and services, particularly for the beneficiaries of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP).

The MOA signifies a shared commitment to fostering socio-economic empowerment, youth development, and community-driven research. This collaboration is set to bring significant benefits to marginalized communities and vulnerable groups across Davao de Oro.

Under this agreement, LCCI will actively collaborate with the DSWD in various key programs which are the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Support, Youth Empowerment and Engagement Program (YEEP), and Community Research Engagement Program (CREP).

The collaboration with LCCI is expected to significantly amplify the impact of the SLP by providing beneficiaries with tailored support that extends beyond financial aid, focusing on holistic development and sustained livelihood. It underscores the importance of multi-sectoral cooperation in achieving sustainable community development and poverty alleviation.
