To ensure better delivery of public service in the coming year, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI successfully held its Regional Work and Financial Planning Workshop for Fiscal Year 2026 on June 17–18, 2025.

Held annually, the two-day activity brought together 75 key personnel, including members of the Regional Management Committee, the Financial Management Division, and Designated Finance Officers. The goal? To align the Department’s programs and services with available resources, making sure every peso is spent wisely and efficiently.

The workshop focused on crafting a realistic and responsive Annual Work and Financial Plan (WFP) and Monthly Disbursement Program. These plans will serve as the blueprint for how DSWD XI will implement its programs and utilize its 2026 budget.

The team also took the opportunity to review challenges encountered in implementing the 2025 work and financial plan and to discuss adjustments based on the National Expenditure Program (NEP).

The annual planning workshop reinforces DSWD XI’s commitment to transparent, responsive, and impactful public service—ensuring that programs reach the people who need them most.
