The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through its Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD), successfully conducted the “Enhanced Customer Experience Skills as Angels in Red Vests Training and Breather Mental Health Session” at the New City Hall of Tagum City last (insert date). This initiative aimed to bolster the customer service capabilities of frontliners and provide essential mental health support.

The training was organized by HRMDD’s Learning and Development Section and Welfare Section, in collaboration with the Crisis Intervention Section (CIS) Davao del Norte, led by Social Welfare Officer II Ricky Tijon. Resource persons included John Ruzcel F. Sampiano (SWO II), Anthony Carl C. Aguilar (Nurse I), and Napolleon Magallanes (PDO II), who facilitated interactive sessions blending customer service enhancement with wellness activities.

Participants comprised personnel from CIS Davao del Norte and representatives from the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). The program focused on strengthening the skills of frontliners, known as “Angels in Red Vests,” and offering a breather session to support their mental well-being.

This initiative underscores DSWD XI’s commitment to the holistic development of its workforce, ensuring they are equipped to provide compassionate service while maintaining their own well-being.
