Grievance officers from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI participated in the recently concluded ‘National Users Training for Integrated Grievance Redress Management System (IGRMS): Mindanao Cluster’ held in General Santos City, South Cotabato, from May 29-31, 2024.

IGRMS aims to unify all grievance systems within the Department into a single platform, enabling efficient monitoring, systematic complaint resolution, and data generation for policy and program development. This centralized digital system is designed to streamline the process of addressing grievances, ensuring that issues are resolved promptly and effectively while generating valuable data to inform future policies and programs.

The field office participants included Elvira B. Anduyan (KALAHI-CIDSS), Erick Ley H. Mundiz (4Ps), Mary Rose G. Gallardo (CIU), Jacquelyn Refugio (Social Pension Program), Fritz Adam P. Rondrero (Community-Based Social Services), Reynaldo S. Dapedran (Non-8888/Non-CSC CCB Alternate Focal), Ma. Angelica L. Dotdot (8888 Alternate Focal), and Ezri M. Coda Jr. (8888 Permanent Focal).

The training sessions covered various aspects of the IGRMS, including its functionality, benefits, and implementation strategies. Participants engaged in hands-on activities and discussions, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use the system. This initiative is part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to enhance service delivery and ensure transparency and accountability in handling grievances.

By integrating all existing grievance systems into IGRMS, the Department aims to foster a more responsive and efficient service environment, ultimately improving the welfare and satisfaction of the communities it serves.
