The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI, through its Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), led the turnover and blessing ceremony for the rice retailing project of LUVWA SLP Association at Lupon Public Market, Lupon, Davao Oriental on February 20, 2024.

Comprising ten (10) members, the association received a seed capital worth P100,000.00 for the project.

Jerrybelle J. Gonzales, the SLP Provincial Coordinator, led the conduct of the said activity.

The SLP aims  to enhance the economic well-being of vulnerable, marginalized, and disadvantaged individuals and families within communities. This is achieved through mobilization and empowerment, with the support of local government units and other relevant government agencies.
