In intensifying the continous endeavors on partnership and convergence, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of Field Office XI (DSWD FO XI) conducted a social investment forum in a Partnership Summit for C.Y. 2023, dubbed “Greater Impact: A Partnership Summit 2023, with the theme, “Sama-sama Patungo sa Matatag at sa Matagumpay na Pamilyang Pilipino.” The activity was held at Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City on November 20-22, 2023 and attended by 103 District Supervisors and Heads from the DepEd Office of Davao City, Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental.

The summit aimed to underscore the shared responsibility of National Government Agencies, with a focus on the Department of Education, in enhancing program implementation through vigilant monitoring, policy recommendations, and provision of complementary support services to household beneficiaries.

Additionally, it served as a platform to address emerging concerns, foster buy-ins, and solidify partnerships between the Department of Education and the Department of Social Welfare and Development.

DSWD XI Regional Director Atty. Vanessa B. Goc-ong in her message, expressed her gratitude in behalf of DSWD to DepEd as one of the Department’s active and supportive NGA Partners.

During the three-day summit, participants crafted a contextualized risk treatment plan, indicating anticipated risks and planned actions at the provincial level.

The event was anchored in the program’s strategy of fortifying partnerships with CSOs, people’s organizations, and the private sector, and convergence with the national and local government agencies providing appropriate support to beneficiaries to ensure their compliance with program conditions, help them achieve an improved level of well-being, and sustainably transition them out of poverty.
