The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI through the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) recognized its partners in the regional implementation of the program during the conduct of Dayag: A Year-End Accomplishment Reporting and Direction Setting for F.Y. 2023 on February 16 at The Ritz Hotel, Garden Oases, Davao City.

Present were local chief executives of Davao Region towns covered by KALAHI-CIDSS such as Ruperto S. Gonzaga III of Mawab and Cyrex Basalo of Montevista, Davao de Oro; Adelan B. de Arce of Sarangani and Claude Benjamin II Bautista of Santa Maria, Davao Occidental; Atty. Jose Jimmy S. Sagarino of Sulop, Davao del Sur; and Jorjan B. Federiso of New Corella and Atty. Leah Marie Moral-Romano of B.E. Dujali, Davao del Norte.

The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU), Philippine Army, Philippine Information Agency, National Commission on Indigenous Peoples, National Housing Authority, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Environment and Natural Resources, and Department of Trade and Industry were also recognized.

The KALAHI-CIDSS is one of the poverty alleviation programs of the government under the Department which uses the community-driven development (CDD) approach, a globally recognized strategy for achieving service delivery, poverty reduction, and good governance outcomes. ###
