The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office XI through its Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) recently conducted its regionwide orientation and capacity-building efforts in the implementation of the Electronic Case Management System (ECMS) to 4Ps case managers.

ECMS is a digital solution to help program implementers manage their caseloads effectively and efficiently.

Around 360 case managers attended said orientation and training workshop which was simultaneously conducted in identified municipalities and cities in the region by members of the Regional Program Management Team (RPMT) of 4Ps.

The utilization of the ECMS will help lay the foundation for effective and efficient case management that shall promote increased quality of care, monitoring, and guidance resulting in improved quality of life, through coaching, coordination, integrating of different multi-sectoral contributions and ensuring convergence of interventions to help the household beneficiaries’ transition from survival level of well-being to self-sufficiency or from poor to non-poor status.

ECMS is one of the efforts of the Department to enhance existing mechanisms in case management pursuant to Republic Act No. 11310 or the 4Ps Act.
