BOYS CARE CENTER. Mayor Allan L. Rellon [2^nd from right] of Tagum City and Ma. Elena S. Labrador [2^nd from left], Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Chief of Protective Services Division, lead the signing of the Detailed Engineering Design and Ground Breaking Rites on Thursday for the construction of the Boys Care Center, a facility for male children situated in armed conflict (CSAC) and male children victimized by human trafficking. Located in Purok Tipaz, Magugpo East, the center was conceptualized and proposed by DSWD and is funded at Php 19 million by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) under PAMANA Pillar II. Other signatories are Arch. Louella May L. Apurada, MSC of LGU Tagum and Oliver M. Binancilan, OPAPP Davao Area Program Manager.
