Davao City (DSWD XI) -The National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) on Wednesday led the Mindanao launch of its anti-poverty campaign Kilos SAMBAYANAN or Kilos para sa SAMPUNG BATAYANG PANGANGAILANGAN, at Muslim Village, Barangay Talomo Proper here. The launch was followed by a Kilos Sambayanan Serbisyo Caravan in the municipality of Maco, Compostela Valley on October 26.

Participating the event were some 184 residents of puroks 75, 76 and 77 of Muslim Village together with NAPC secretary Liza L. Maza, Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) undersecretary Luzviminda C. Ilagan, regional heads and representatives of national agencies, and Davao City officials.

The 10 basic needs are food and land reform, water, shelter, work, health, education, social protection, healthy environment, peace and participation.

The Wednesday launch was capped by the unveiling of Kilos Sambayanan Mural and the Kilos Sambayanan medical mission. (DSWD)
