The Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) boasts of five SLP associations which were launched in Manay, Davao Oriental.

Consisting of 105 members, the Capasman, Kadayawan, Guza, Manreza Peanut Growers, and Davao Fish Cage SLP Associations venture out in enterprises including production of Chicken, Tilapia, Coco Vinegar, and Peanut as well as General Merchandise Retailing.

The Sustainable Livelihood Program is a community-based capacity building effort that seeks to improve the beneficiaries’ socio-economic status through Micro-Enterprise Development and Employment Facilitation. (DSWD)
