30 Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) scholars from Davao City complete technical-vocational course in Driving NC II, Automotive Servicing NC I, and Automotive Servicing NC II from Davao Institute of Technical Education, Inc. The graduation ceremony was held at CAP Auditorium, Barangay Poblacion, Davao City.
The scholars are Pantawid Pamilya recipients whose training was facilitated through the Sustainable Livelihood Program of DSWD. Pantawid families are equipped with technical-vocational skills to prepare them embark in economic opportunities when they graduate from the program. To date, over 260,000 poor families in Davao Region are benefiting from Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. (DSWD)
