Davao City – Following the directive of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte during his first State of the Nation Address (SONA) in July 2016, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) is set to release rice subsidy in the form of cash amounting to P600.00.
The rice subsidy will be given to all Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program beneficiaries nationwide provided they are compliant with either health or education conditionality of the program.
The rice subsidy is included in the cash grant that the households will receive every two months until December 2017.
Further, all Pantawid Pamilya Municipal/ City Links, together with all Pantawid Parent Leaders nationwide are enjoined to ensure that the additional cash grants are used by the beneficiaries for its intended purpose.
For more information on the rice subsidy, beneficiaries are encouraged coordinate with any City/Municipal Link assigned in their respective cities/municipalities.
