SKILLS TRAINING. 230 Pantawid Pamilya grantees in barangays Crossing Bayabas, Marapangi, Daliao, Bato and Bangkas Heights in Toril District, Davao City participate in Siopao and Empanada Making, and Food Processing under the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP). DSWD continues to equip Pantawid families with livelihood skills to prepare them for employment and other economic opportunities. Meanwhile, 120 Pantawid families in barangays Manuel Guianga, Sto. Niἢo, Bago Oshiro and Mintal in Tugbok District also train in Food Processing. To date, there are over 264,000 families benefiting from Pantawid Pamilya in Davao Region including indigenous peoples.
