Home for the Aged manager Annie L. Rosalinda receives a plaque for her sustained exemplary performance. Presenting the award are Tagum City mayor Allan L. Rellon and DSWD residential facilities coordinator Dahlia S. Padillo.

Tagum City (DSWD XI) – The Home for the Aged of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in partnership with the Association of Friends of the Home for the Aged, Inc. (AFHAI), led the Home’s recent 39th Founding Anniversary celebration.

Highlighting the event was conferring of awards to government and non-government  partner-organizations which have extended significant contributions to the Home.

DSWD presented a posthumous award to Erlinda B. Flordeliz, former manager of the Home and has served for 22 years.

Workers of Home for the Aged were also cited for exemplary performance; namely, Marilou J. Saren, Neneth S. Bernales, Richeled R. Pegad, Annie L. Rosalinda, Mary Ann L. Balala and Bobby L. Burarong.

Officials of Tagum City LGU led by Mayor Allan L. Rellon, AFHAI board of directors, and members of the academe joined the celebration.

To date, the Home has 75 residents, 60 years old and above, neglected and abandoned. (DSWD)
