WOMEN AT WORK. A road marker underscores women participation in community development as Kalahi-CIDSS volunteer Tita Limbudan Sam [right], leads her co-volunteers in the Concreting of a 240 Linear Meter Barangay Road in Centro Barangay Little Baguio, Malita, Davao Occidental. The construction was made possible through a funding of Php 1,479.823.00 from DSWD’s Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (Kalahi-CIDSS). Along with her fellow volunteers, Tita is immensely grateful to Kalahi-CIDSS for accessing opportunities to women. “Before, our roles and responsibilities were limited in the four corners of our homes. With Kalahi-CIDSS activities, women participation heightened, advancing our significant contribution in community development.” (DSWD)
