ONE STEP PROJECT. Tourism Assistant Secretary Art Boncato Jr and DSWD Director Priscilla N. Razon discuss the One Step Project, a joint undertaking between DOT, USAID and DSWD that would benefit Pantawid Pamilya recipients. Also in the meeting are DSWD Asst. Director Ma. Vilia L. One identified project area is the hitoan in Los Amigos, Davao City where a number of Pantawid families reside.  DOT in coordination with the City Health Office will provide them training such as Standard in Serving in a Restaurant, Food Handling and Sanitation. In partnership with Los Amigos Aqua-Culture Producers Organization, DSWD will also engage Pantawid families in hito production.

On the other hand, Pantawid communities in Samal, Davao Del Norte will be trained by DOT in Tour Guiding, Transport  Service, Food Processing, and Soap and Shampoo Making and other related trainings in coordination with DOST. DSWD
