The 86 family beneficiaries have now settled in Asuncion, Carmen, Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCoS), New Corella, Panabo, Sto. Tomas in Davao del Norte; Kiblawan in Davao del Sur; and Davao City.

The Department is one of the members of the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa Council, which was created under Executive Order (EO) No. 114 to ensure “the whole-of-government action” on the implementation of the program.

The BP2 Program is an inter-agency program that aims to provide comprehensive services to families returning to their provinces as well as funding assistance to LGUs in order to improve access to basic services.

Furthermore, the BP2 Program is one of the support measures that could lead to the decongestion of urban poor communities with a high incidence of COVID-19, contributing to the achievement of balanced regional development. ###
